American Gulf School is officially authorized by the IB organization as an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) school and Candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme. American Gulf School will also pursue authorization for the IB Diploma and IB Courses Programmes to become an IB World School. IB World Schools share a commitment to improving the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of learners by delivering challenging, high-quality programs of international education. An IB education aims to transform students as they learn, through dynamic cycles of inquiry, action, and reflection. Students are supported by experienced teachers to develop the approaches of learning they need for both academic and personal success.
