Step 2

Submit the applicant’s passport copy and copies of the latest school reports via email on admissions@ags.ae or via WhatsApp on 056 999 0871. We might ask for a more detailed report from the current school if this is required by the Admissions Committee.

For international enrollments from outside the UAE, it is important for parents of children enrolling into Grade 2 or above to finalize the Transfer Certificate and Report Cards attestation process prior to leaving the country they are residing in

  1. Copy of student’s passport
  2. Progress reports from the last two years (Reports must be translated to English with official stamp)
  3. Copy of recent Standardized Assessments results (MAP, CAT4, etc.)
  4. Copy of any previously identified special educational needs including individual educational plans (IEP, ILP, etc.)
Step 3

Pay application fee and book an assessment schedule

Pay the application processing fee of AED 525* per student. You can pay this at the school or via a bank transfer. For bank transfers, please request the school bank details from the admissions department. *The application processing fee is inclusive of VAT and is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deductible.
Step 4

Admissions Committee reviews assessment and student’s profile

Once all three steps have been completed, we will invite your child for an assessment*. We use the assessments to make sure that your child will be able to follow our curriculum and to determine your child’s strengths and areas of improvement. The complete student file is then reviewed by our Admissions Committee. *Please note that further assessments and interviews might be needed in some cases.
Step 5

Acceptance

Successful applicants will receive offers via email. To secure your child’s seat at American Gulf School, a registration fee of AED 1,000 is required within 10 days of receiving the offer. The registration fee will be deducted from the annual tuition fee, however the fee is not refundable and cannot be transferred to another academic year or to another student. Once you have secured your child’s seat, you will receive a starter pack to welcome you to our school. We look forward to welcoming your family to American Gulf School!
